When seeking back again at his time on the show, Matt says he “wouldn’t have experienced it any other way,” but he calls out The Bachelor for failing to clearly show an authentic version of his tale and everyday living on tv, and urging them to do superior in the upcoming.
“I was getting ready to see it and when I did not see it, I am, like, ‘Dang, I guess it was also uncooked,'” he stated. “I guess it was also uncooked for what they were being searching for, which is regrettable because when you might be susceptible and you are open about these factors, hella folks resonated with that. They’re like, ‘Yo, I felt that.’ I’m like, ‘It’s not that tough of a formula—how about y’all double down on the realness?'”
Matt’s guide To start with Impressions: Off Screen Conversations with a Bachelor on Race, Relatives, and Forgiveness, about his existence and knowledge on the show, is out now.
